Service Description

Join us and relax in a welcoming and safe space with your baby or toddler, where you can explore sensory activities aimed at encouraging learning and development. A variety of free-play areas and sensory activities, aimed at children from 0 to around 3 years will allow babies and children to explore at their own pace, but with the flexibility of guided sensory activities to keep the little ones engaged. You can drop in at any time from 10am until noon, and enjoy a coffee/tea and a snack! Meet other parents and share the ups and downs of life with a little one, while allowing your child to explore in a safe environment. Sensory Garden will continue during school holidays and a craft will be included in the activities, to keep older siblings entertained! These sessions are normally hosted by Angie, a Perinatal Support Specialist, with qualifications in childbirth education, breastfeeding support and holistic infant sleep coaching. Angie is also experienced in leading sensory classes and crafting events. So, even if your little one is too young to get the most out of all of the sensory activities, you can still join in to connect with other parents, chat to Angie, or just sit in a safe space to snuggle your baby (with someone on hand to prepare your coffee or tea for you!). ;) The goal of these sessions is to help build community and connection amongst families, helping all of us to find our village and are run as a 'pay what you want' service.
