Service Description

Holistic sleep coaching is a way of supporting families through learning about biologically normal infant sleeping patterns and behaviours, responsive parenting and family-centred care. These sessions provide one to one gentle infant sleep support from an NCT (National Childbirth Trust, UK)-qualified Perinatal Educator, Breastfeeding Counsellor and Holistic Infant Sleep Coach. Through coaching, we will explore any issues or challenges that you are experiencing in relation to your baby's sleep (either on it's own or in combination with feeding). Through listening to your concerns and reflecting on what I hear, I will help you make more sense of your situation. We will discuss your personal circumstances which might have an impact on sleep and I will offer evidence-based information relevant to your circumstances, empowering you to make informed decisions. We will work together to explore options for moving forward and I will support you to determine the next steps in you and your baby's journey regarding sleep. Discussion topics might include: - normal infant sleep biology - sleep culture and decision-making - attachment and responsive parenting - daytime sleep and napping - early rising/late bedtimes - night time sleep, possibly in combination with feeding - routines and parenting styles - bed-sharing and safe sleep Sessions can be provided in-person (at LilyBee in Zurich or Newborn Mums in Adliswil) or online. An initial in-person consultation is charged at 95 CHF per 45 minute session and in cases where subsequent in-person sessions are needed, these are charged at 85 CHF per 45 minutes. Online consultations cost 80 CHF per 45 minutes, and follow up consultations cost 70 CHF. Consultations which run beyond 45 minutes will be charged at 15 CHF per additional 10 minutes.
