Ideal for parents, grandparents, childcare providers, teachers, and carers, this course covers common emergencies such as febrile seizures, falls, allergic reactions, or choking incidents. You’ll gain confidence in everyday situations and the peace of mind of being prepared. This 6-hour course is taught in English by Healthy and Safe (www.healthyandsafe.ch) and covers first aid, unconsciousness, CPR, choking, seizures, burns, fever, cough, colds and ear infections. Babies are welcome, but please note that the class cannot stop if you need to take your child out for whatever reason. Babies under crawling age are idea. A changing table and nursing pillows are available. Childcare providers, nannies, au pairs, teachers, and similar are welcome to attend our first aid courses. Certificates for participants working in childcare or recertification is issued after successfully passing a written assessment after the course. Certificates are valid for two years, after which recertification is necessary. Coffee and tea will be available but please bring along your own lunch. A fridge and microwave are available for use.
