[0m+] Group infant feeding support - connect with other parents and share in your feeding journey
Service Description
Join us for friendly and welcoming parents' group, where you can connect with others, while accessing group-based breastfeeding and general infant feeding support in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. Parents and their babies are invited to join with specific feeding queries, or simply to connect with others and share their experiences of early parenthood. Sessions are supported by Angie Borzychowski, a breastfeeding counsellor and postnatal group facilitator, trained by the National Childbirth Trust (NCT, UK). Peer supporters will also join to help by sharing their own experiences. Parents-to-be are also welcome to join in for discussions and to start to understand the experience of infant feeding. Angie is also a qualified Holistic Infant Sleep Coach and supports attachment-promoting responsive parenting. The Village Breastfeeding Café is held every other Wednesday morning from 10:30am until noon. Parents can drop-in at any time. Tea/coffee and snacks will be provided, along with a play area for older babies and toddlers. Supporters of the cafe are volunteers and therefore there is no cost to take part. A contribution towards coffee/tea is welcome.
